This site is primarily for adults with ADHD and our allies. We don’t require that this be diagnosed by a mental health professional- they don’t always know what they are doing, so the “self diagnosed” are welcome to join us, but if you believe you have ADHD consider talking to one (or preferably more) mental health professionals – especially if you think the medications might help you. This site is also open to our allies – those with more normal attention who have friends or family members they wish to support. What we are not encouraging are those who have “ADHD days” – or this ADHD is all fun and games because of social media influencers they follow. ADHD does have a few benefits – but it is highly debilitating so those who believe they are “on the spectrum” can also join, but don’t expect all fun and games here.
For legal reasons, we also what to limit this site to only adults over 18 years old at this time – we expect our member base will span all age groups here.
Follow normal social protocols for posting here – no obscene language, no personal attacks on other members, and no harassment of any kind.
While you are welcome to post comments or questions about medications, do not use this platform to discuss the exchange of these medications with another member – whether offering or asking for any controlled substance – or money or as a gift. This ban includes using the private messaging features here for that purpose.
Other terms will be listed here as the site develops, and they will go into effect as soon as posted.
