This is an online network being developed exclusively for adults with ADHD. It is partly a replacement for a Meetup group we started to support adults with ADHD in the San Diego region, and partly the prototype for a much larger vision.
This network will feature a lightweight social network, a private member directory that will allow you to find others who share this difference with the same interests as you. The site uses geolocation, but only down to the zip code level, so you will be able to meet other members in your area without revealing your exact location. This network will also have discussion forums on subjects of interest to us such as "living with ADHD", "Medications and Treatment", "Advances in Neuroscience" and more. We have already organized real-world and virtual meetings and it is likely both will resume soon.
This site is currently being soft-launched and is being promoted in San Diego but is open to members from other areas. New members must be over 18 years of age and must self-certify that they have been diagnosed as having ADHD by a qualified professional. There is no charge or fees of any kind to join this network.
